CEO
Steve Hardwick was named Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of C&G Energy Services in November 2018.
As a C-level energy industry executive with more than 25 years of experience, Steve has provided the steady leadership, insight, and dedication needed to lead a variety of businesses to the next level of success. In his prior role as Founder and CEO of FormWater LLC, Steve was successful in providing sustainable, responsible, and economically alternative solutions for managing increasing volumes of produced formation water.
Steve’s previous executive leadership positions include CEO of MissionWEST LLC; President of the Americas business for Swire Oilfield Services; and more than 15 years with Tetra Technologies, culminating in the role of Global Vice President of Business Development. Steve’s early-career position with the Houston Domestic Oil Company provided him the opportunity to gain and expand his experience in production facilities and oil and gas wells. Steve earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Liberty University.
COO
Luke joined C&G Energy Services in 2009 and served as Vice President of Business Development until 2013.
He now serves as the Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for purchasing, logistics, and new business origination, as well as managing the company’s entire fleet of rental equipment. Luke began his career as an apprentice electrician in 2001 with Tracer Construction, a division of Tyco Thermal Controls, and joined the C&G team as a General Electrician eight years later. In 2010, Luke became Regional Manager of the company’s operations in North Dakota and Montana, and in 2012 transitioned into the Operations Manager role before assuming the VP role he holds today. Luke attended Bemidji State University for Electrical Engineering and holds a Journeyman License from the state of Minnesota.
Director, Human Resources
Vickie Tucker joined C&G Energy Services in 2022 as the Director of Human Resources. Vickie has over 40 years of global human resources experience working for notable companies, including The Western Company of North America, BJ Services, Halliburton, Tetra, Swire Oilfield Services, and Compressor Engineering Corp.
Vickie has successfully served in various executive leadership roles, especially with start-up ventures. Vickie is an HR subject matter expert with expertise in both operational and strategic HR processes on both a domestic and international scale, including mergers and acquisitions integration experience. Overseeing all aspects of human resources management, she establishes and develops human resources best practices to effectively support rapid business growth.
Vickie is a proud native Texan who made her home in Houston prior to relocating to Midland.

Jennifer is an experienced leader with 18 years in accounting and finance. She has a strong record of successfully building and scaling offices for various organizations. Drawing on her background in public accounting and diverse industry experience spanning real estate to Energy services, she brings a wealth of depth and versatility. Jennifer holds an MBA from UT Arlington and is an active CPA in Texas.
